A Tradition Of Success Is Born
In 2001, a long term dream was realized in the City of Manchester,
the opening of its very own Civic Center. Once built, the Verizon
Center
would play host to NH's premier sports franchise, the Manchester
Monarchs. Led by Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough,
great things would be expected from this franchise.
In 2005 the Monarchs will be looking to
celebrate their 5th Anniversary with another winning season and at
least a second round playoff appearance under new Head Coach Jim
Hughes. Tune in
here all season long for in-depth interviews and analysis of your
Manchester Monarchs.

Monarchs Booster Club Continues Success
Not only have they been one of the most
visible fan driven sports organizations in the state of NH, the
Monarchs Booster Club has now been named the 2005 AHL Booster
Club Of The Year.
They're just like anyone else, from all
walks of life, young and old, men and women who share one passion in
particular HOCKEY. More specifically Manchester Monarchs hockey. In
June of 2003, the Manchester Monarchs Booster Club was born and has
grown by leaps and bounds in its first two seasons, much like the
Monarchs themselves. Lead by many wonderful individuals they
not only travel and support their team on the road, they assist with
team functions, and charity events right here in Manchester.
